THE GRAND CANYON DEATH JUMP:
"In his most amazing and dangerous demonstration to date, Criss will attempt to jump the Grand Canyon in a high-powered three-wheeled motorcycle and try to miraculously appear inside a locked jail cell suspended from a helicopter 4,000 feet above the Canyon floor or plummet to his death"
What I think:
First off I think this is very interesting. The fact that he will be Jumping the Grand Canyon and then Appearing inside a locked Jail cell is actually pretty remarkable. Now we all know he is going to pull it off because well it wouldn't be on the show if he didn't. But all in all I think this is going to be a great effect!
LUXOR WALK:
"Criss Angel will attempt to defy the laws of gravity as he attempts to miraculously walk up the entire side of the Luxor Hotel and Casino which rises over 500 feet above the Las Vegas Blvd strip and disappear into the incinerating light atop the pyramid."
What I think:
He has done something similar to this before when he walked up and down the side of a building. I just don't like how they play up the fact about the "incinerating light" Obviously from Season 4 when he floated in the light he didn't harm him so walking on it shouldn't either, But other than that it sounds like it would be a great illusion.
SMASH:
"At the monumental Grand Canyon Sky Walk in front of hundreds of spectators, Criss will be shackled and locked inside a confining solid crate except for holes to view his face and hands at all times. The crate will then be hoisted over the edge of the canyon--over 4,000 feet above the Colorado River. If Criss does not escape in time, HE WILL DIE. Viewers get an uninterrupted view of Criss’ face, hands, and feet as he attempts to escape his bonds and the crate before it crashes to the cold rocky river below."
What I think:
This he has done before, just with a Cement Block instead of a Crate. Granted he wasn't above a lake he was just way up in the air in New York City. It had a lot of the same details, (being able to see him inside and what he does) So He is just revamping one of his old illusions. It should be great ;)
LEVITATION VANISH:
"With Criss' chaotic schedule, including his daily Vegas stage show, the taping of his hit TV series and moving into a new home, Criss decides to escape the city for the Valley of Fire deep into the Mojave desert. In this remote and mystical place, Criss will attempt to miraculously levitate over 100 feet into the sky and then vanish instantaneously."
What I think:
Now Criss has done a TON of Levitations before and We all know what type of crazy things he has done with it. From levitating people on the street to levitating above the Luxor he has pretty much did it all. So when I read that he will be doing a instant NO cover vanish while levitating a 100 feet in the air... well I have to see this to believe it. Yes I am a magician but this just seems impossible. If he can pull it off it will have me thinking about how he does it (just like his walking on lake mead he did in Season 4) This should be one AWESOME illusion ;)
100 GONE:
"The Guinness Book of World Records will be on hand as Criss attempts the largest vanish of people ever! One hundred people will be chosen at random and shackled together in front of a crowd of thousands where Criss will attempt to make them all disappear—instantaneously!"
What I think:
What I don't like about this is simple... The fact that they think we are stupid enough to believe that they are "Random" people... Come on... We all know they are getting paid... Other Than that I think this will be great! I can't really comment on how I think he will perform the effect because the Methods to something like this is just to many to count. There are THOUSANDS of ways to make something disappear So I can't comment on how he will do it. But I still think that for what he's doing, Making 100 people Vanish, it is going to be pretty dang sweet!
CEMENT SHOES:
"As an homage to Harry Houdini’s most dangerous escape, Criss will be chained and shackled with over 100 feet of chains and more than 20 locks and hung from the side of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, Arizona in front of over 10,000 spectators. To make the escape even more impossible and drowning an almost certainty, Criss will have his feet imbedded in a barrel of cement before being lowered off the bridge and deep into the lake below."
What I think:
I can understand why this is on the Last Episode of the Season. It is one of the most dangerous as well as spectacular effects he is going to do. The fact that he will be doing it in front of "10,000 spectators" is amazing! I sure hope that they have good security there ;) Very dangerous but we all know that he lived through it and succeed because well it wasn't in the news and its going into his Season. So For all those people that Wish to see him Epically fail... sorry not on this.
END VERDICT:
I think This will be a great Season and I am waiting to be amazed! Even though it looks like it will only be a 6 episode long Season,(much like Season 5 "The Five Lives of Criss Angel Mindfreak" With only 5 Episodes) I still think it will be great!
