Hey Everyone! I just recently bought Criss Angel's Platinum Magic Kit and I have mixed Feelings about it SO I will post a Honest Review of it!

(I will talk about the cons about the kit under the cons section ;))
PRICE:
$30 American + tax
PRO'S:
Everything is pretty well made (it's a TON better than some other magic kits that i've bought before)
It seems that everything was built very well (even though all of it was built in China... will talk about that later lol)
It has a Great Selection of effects that range from beginner to Advanced.
I will certainly be using some of these props in my magic show ;)
CON's:
Okay before I get started on the Cons Let me say that these cons aren't something that makes the Kit "bad" they are just things that I think could and should have been better.
First off is the most obvious... the Criss Angel Deck of cards. I have a REAL deck of his playing cards (the ones that are sold at his Mindfreak store in Vegas) and These that came with it are well... CRAP! lol The reason being is that He went the cheap way out and had those Cards (for the kit) made in China and NOT by the US Trading Card Company (like his ones in the Mindfreak store.) The cards are very thin paper and don't fan worth a crap.
You Get 2 decks of Playing cards inside the Kit. One is a legit deck and one is a Gimmicked deck. (I will not reveal what kind of gimmicked deck it is... so don't ask) But it is a trick deck.
The DVD has a intro from Criss telling you thank you for buying the kit yada yada yada and then it goes to the Teaching section. I have a few issues about it...
First off they don't say when they start the teaching WHAT effect it is that they are teaching. You don't know that until they actually show what it is that they are teaching. Which is not good for someone who is looking to have a SPECIFIC trick taught to them... you have to wait or skip ahead watch a bit to see what is being taught and then if its not it you have to skip ahead again so on so forth...
Also it ISN'T Criss actually doing the teaching. It is some guy standing at a table and you ONLY see the table and his hands. He NEVER talks and anytime something needs explained further they put words on the screen.... NOT very effective... seeing that he's "mimes" aren't very well at all... (his being whoever it is who is teaching or "performing" the effects.) Which can get very annoying because he is OVER showing and waving his hands around for no apparent reason which can get annoying lol
I would have a much easier time learning the effects by reading the book that came with it than watching the video lol (of course I don't have to learn how to use the tricks inside it because its all effects I know how to perform or have performed before... I am just saying for a person who DOESN'T know the effects or performed them before it would be difficult)
Because of the Teaching Method and NO talking whatsoever in the Tut DVD It can get VERY confusing as to what he is trying to "mime" out. Which makes for learning the effect very difficult or confusing...
It has a few effects that I have seen in MANY magic kits so for originality its kinda lacking.
Now it seems that I have a TON of cons but really they are just small ones that could of been better.
SPECIFIC EFFECTS:
The Sponge balls that come with it are Red and they are Tiny. They look like 1 inch sponges, Which makes someone who is used to using 2 and a half inch sponges very difficult. But still its nice to have a few more sponge balls ;)
I LOVE that it comes with the Cups and Balls effect! It has a very nice set of cups and balls with it. Yes all the props are made out of plastic but still they are very nice. They aren't the "small" cups that come with some other kits. These are really quite large cups (which look VERY professional) They have a Silver Finish and look like dome cup and balls that you see the pros using (just made of plastic) So I Really enjoy getting them because I now have a Proper set of cups and balls lol no longer using the drinking cups out of the kitchen and my old sponge balls lolol
the "Secret Floating Device" is great! Wasn't what I was thinking but I'm not going to say what It is (due to revealing the methods and stuff so if you want to know what it is BUY IT lol) It seems great quality and I am sure that I will be using it A LOT and adding it to my other Levitation supplies.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
This is a GREAT beginners magic kit and something I think someone Just getting into the art should get. For its price I think it is well worth it for what you are getting.
If you are a more advanced performer in the art This might let you down but you will STILL make use out of the Levitation device as well as the sponge balls and a few of the other props.
If you are going to get it just to see what it has in it... Don't waste your money... If your going to get it to ACTUALLY use it, it is well worth the $30.

Criss Angel "Cement Shoes" - My Thoughts
Okay Here is my thoughts on Criss Angel's "Cement Shoes." What I'm doing different about this time is, I'm actually writing this AS I watch it so that You can get my thoughts as it goes on ;)
The first Transpo was pretty sweet but Kinda obvious. But even though it was kinda obvious it was still great!
The Card Prediction was a VERY simple effect. When he was describing the effect he said you will select one and as he said that he would point to the Ace of Spades. So in our mind that tells us to pick The Ace of Spades. And not only that but if you ask anyone to name a card more than likely they will say that one ;)
The Water Floating Trick was INSANELY easy... the Masked Magician Revealed that one a Long time ago and I'm not going to. Just don't like how it was another "set up" illusion... Come on I want to see him doing magic for REAL PEOPLE not these set up effects with people who are in on it...
Great Stage Effect! Since I am a Stage magician I LOVE stage Magic! He Did a great job with it and I really enjoyed watching it!
The Final Effect! Cement Shoes!!!! Was under for 3 Min and 59 Sec! That's a long time to hold your breath! I know myself I can only hold it for about 1 min 20 sec without breathing... but then again I am not as in shape as he is lol There really is no "Trick" to what he did... it was a escape and thats it. So based on that it was pretty sweet.
Okay now the Cell phone Calling I did text in but I didn't get a call from him. I was thinking about the Number 5 since I am a male, Sports Car, and then Remote Control Car. Still no call... I will Edit this if I ever Do get a call! So if you see a Edit at the bottom then you know he called me ;)
Overall:
It wasn't bad BUT there was only a few tricks! I think there was like 5-6 actual magic tricks in the show! Thats not many in 1 hour! They need to stop doing so many interviews and replays and get more Tricks in the show! It's a Magic Show! Show us the Magic!

"Methods" Vs. "Effect"
On one of my Forums, http://www.magicalproteachings.com I got into a discussion about "Methods" and "Effects" The thought was brought up that using a Stooge in magic is wrong and that its "Fake" Well I decided to make a post about my thoughts on the issue at hand.
You have to admit "Stooges" A.K.A. hidden Assistants have been in Magic for AGES! I mean some of the greatest Magic effects of all time Use a "stooge" And the whole idea of thinking that using a "stooge" is "not real" well Nothing in magic IS real... We use Things to make it LOOK like we can do the impossible. There are many different things that allow us to do that.
Like:
Misdirection
Slight of hand
Mathematics
Memorization
Gimmicks
Stooges
Video Editing
ect...
All those are just TOOLS we use to DO the impossible.
Remember its not about HOW the effect is done (remember to the spectator its the same no matter what method you use because they don't think in methods) All's that matters is WHAT is done.
Say I want to make a Card Vanish from the deck and appear in someones pocket on the other side of the room and that person has a Dup card in their pocket waiting for their time to shine. I ask a spectator to pick a card (force on the card) Then make it "vanish" from the deck and tell everyone to look in their pockets and low and behold someone on the other side of the room happens to have the card. Let me tell you... it FLOORS them! YES I HAVE done that very effect before. They NEVER thought that, that person was in on the trick, Why? because they DO NOT care how the effect is done... they know what happened and thats all they think about! What did they Think happened? They thought they picked a freely chosen card and I made it vanish and appear in someones pocket across the room. Thats what they Saw, and thats ALL THAT MATTERS! I still have people to this day tell me about that trick and how it just baffles them! And You bet I used a Stooge!
People have this idea that using a stooge is "bad" But why? I mean lets face it, The most POPULAR Magician in the world, Criss Angel (or most widely known) Even uses Stooges! Yes, people always call him "Fake" But I tell you, What Magician isn't fake? By using Slight of hand, Misdirection, and other Methods we Make people believe we can do the impossible. Saying you wont use a Stooge because its "Fake" is like saying "I wont use a Gimmick or any other thing that helps me do a magic because its fake"
All Magic is Presentation, skill, and misdirection. The Method should NEVER be the main focus of the trick... if so... well then your whole outlook on magic needs some adjustment...
It's getting more and more that people are focusing on the METHOD rather than the EFFECT. It's Time for Us Magicians to shift our Focus on what Truly matters. THE EFFECT! Once you change your outlook on what your performing... you will never believe how far you can go!

Criss Angel "Luxor Walk" - My Thoughts
Okay Well Here is my thoughts from Criss Angel's "Luxor Walk" I know this is a little behind schedule But here it is!
Overall I liked This Episode a WHOLE lot more than last weeks episode. He did effects that we can relate to and ones that the "average everyday magician" can do themselves. For Example He performed "Thread" By Wayne Houchin. Which this is the Second time he has performed it on TV.
About "Thread":
Well He performed it almost the exact same way he did when he was the Guest Host on WWE Raw. There was a girl with a piece of thread hanging on her clothes. (which doing it the same way both times SCREAMS STOOGE but more on that in a second.) So he performed it. I liked how it wasn't just THAT effect he did with that piece of thread. It was more of a routine which was a really good Idea. He then after pulled it out of his eye then made it to where it would come out of his friends stomach. That was very neat and I thought a great follow up effect for "Thread"
BUT! It was way to obvious that it was all staged. I mean the guy who he pulled it out of was acting funny and moving around and jumped the gun like he knew what was going on (and we all know that he did know lol) If you have a DVR And recorded it (or if its online) Watch the guys actions (the guy who pulls the thread out of his stomach) I mean it just screams out everything!
Now for the Girl who had the thread on her shirt. It's obvious that she was a Stooge because first off she had the thread on her shirt and secondly she pointed to the EXACT area that the thread would be pulled out of on the guy when criss said "point anywhere" she went straight for his side without even thinking about it.
The Person Levitation was pretty amazing. The one where he made the girl float from the chair that was in the water to over to him. That was really sweet and I really can't think of how that one is done. It did look a little funny on film but I don't know. It was still cool none the less.
The Person Vanish from the Forklift was also easy to figure out how it was done as well. Of course Since I am a magician I wont say how its done but lets just say it was easy. It was still a great illusion and one that im thinking about using (with a different context) in the future! (Thanks criss ;))
Now for what Your reading this for lol the Main Effect the Walk up the Side of the Luxor.
First off I thought it was funny that the first time he did something with the luxor they said that the light could burn your flesh and stuff like that and then when he did this they said that the sides of it were really hot (which they proved this time by using a thermometer) But I thought it was funny that at the end he was STANDING IN THE LIGHT and yet it had no effect on him lolol pretty funny but anyways back to the walk itself.
It was very similar to his walk up the wall he did before the only difference here is that it was on a 40 degree incline instead of 90 degrees.
The only difference about this one is that its a Night (which im sure is done for both the method and because the walls are so hot... i mean i wouldnt wanna do a walk like that during the day if its so hot lol) There was some shots that was kinda hard to see because of the lighting and so forth. One thing that was cool was how he gave cameras to people staying there at the luxor to film from the inside. I thought that was a nice (different) touch to add in.
Overall I have no idea how he performed it and I thought it was performed well. I really don't have any complaints about this episode! So Bravo Criss for uping the game and for making something better than last week! (lol which really wasn't that hard to do)

My Life - Things are Looking Up!
Well Here Is a Quick update to whats going on.
First off the Monte Carlo's Transmission didn't go out after all! The hose leading from the transmission had a hole in it! So we fixed that and it works like a charm now!
Secondly the Vacation is not Ruined! It's back up and running and We will be leaving on Sept 3rd to go on our Vacation me and my dad! So YES! I need this Vacation!
Just wanna thank everyone who has been praying for me and I ask that you will continue to pray for me! Things are looking great!

My Life - August 11th, 2010
Well A lot of things have been happening lately so I just feel like Blogging about it. This is what has been happening in the past month or so.
First thing that Happened was, we traded one of our cars for a 2010 HHR. We had it 2 weeks and they asked for us to bring it back because they couldn't find a bank to finance it. So they took it back and gave us our trade in back.
We was going to take that Car with us on our Vacation this Year Which was Suppose to be on July 30th. Well since they took the car back we pushed it back to Sept 3rd.
So We decided to Sell our Car that we traded in for the HHR. So we sold it.
That Left us with 2 cars, My Monte Carlo and our Van.
Then the Heater Core Started to mess up on the Van. Water would be leaking from it and flooding the inside of it. we would keep water in it and it would only leak after sitting for a long period of time off like over night. so it wasn't a big deal.
Then about 4 days ago The Transmission Goes out on my Monte Carlo when my dad was coming home from work. So now we are going to have to fix that. Which almost pushed our Vacation plans to where we wasnt going on one. But we decided to Go by bus and only me and my dad go.
So me and my dad were planning to leave Sept 3rd by Bus to Michigan.
Well TODAY my dad took the Van to a mechanic to give us a estimate on how much it would be to bypass the Heater core. So he gives them the van and when he comes back they say that they bypassed it already and that its fixed and it would cost $140. Thats everything we have left... so he HAD to pay it in order to get the van back. So he paid it and on his way home the Van Breaks Down! It runs Completely out of water and overheats!
So Now we have NO CAR! My Monte carlo still doesn't have a transmission and the Van can't be driven because it isn't holding water. AND my dad gave them the money that we was going to use for the Bus tickets to Michigan.
So it is official! We aren't going on Vacation now! Why is all this happening to us? What have we done to deserve this? I swear this is the 2nd worse Vacation time we have ever had!
I will keep you posted. But it looks like we have no car and No vacation...

Criss Angel "Grand Canyon Death Jump" - My Thoughts
Well Tonight was Criss Angel's "Grand Canyon Death Jump" episode. The first episode in Season 6. I have mixed Feelings about it And So I'll just talk about what comes to my mind.
I'll get to his Main Effect last ;)
The Trick I liked the most was either the Scorpion kiss or the Walking through the Gate. The Scorpion one because it was something we wouldn't expect and he just randomly kissed this chick, and the Walking through the Gate because he's Walked through a Window, A Solid Metal Door, and now that. I think it wraps it up nicely.
The "Teach a Trick" to be honest... Was Crap... I mean who actually Didn't know already that a Can of Soda Can balance like that if you drink about half of it. I mean really... thats something I think EVERYONE knows... AND it's not really a "Magic trick" its just balancing the can... nothing really magical about that.
I don't like how he's not really using REAL spectators anymore... he's either using people he "randomly" pulled from the crowd or "selected" some people... you never actually see him do that...
Another thing I noticed is that to me is seems like its a little to "scripted" for a reality TV show. I mean all the little "pranks" and things like that I mean come on you know they scripted that all out and was "acting" for that... which really doesn't set right with me. I liked it when he would walk up to random people and do magic for them, not "select" someone and show them something they have rehearsed and done over and over... Now for the Biggy! The Grand Canyon Death Jump... Where should I start?
First off the camera placement really made the "method" to the effect, (to me) seem very obvious. I mean it wouldn't be that hard to do 2 shots one of the helicopter flying there with no one in the cage and with the car driving up the ramp and then another shot with Criss in the cage and someone else driving the car and with the Fireball use that to cover the camera cut between the two shots...
Now this is MY Method to how I think he does it. I DO NOT KNOW for sure how he does it. I just know what I think and that is what I think.
Another thing that to me makes it obvious that its a little Camera Trickery is because he kept showing it OVER, and OVER, and OVER trying to drill it into our head that its NOT a camera trick and what you see is what you get... It really threw up the Red Flag once I saw that...
Another thing about it that really makes me lean to the camera cut is that there is NO audience there watching him do it. They even said so in the Episode that there wasn't anyone there watching... that allows them to get away with WAY more than what they could if they had a live group there watching. I mean if there was they couldn't of got away with it because word would get out that what we see on the camera WASN'T what was viewed live there... Which is something Criss Says over and over that "What you see is what you get" but is it really?
All's I know is it kinda let me down with all the Performing just for the camera, and the maybe camera cuts... all in all i give it about a 5/10... Let's hope that Next Weeks Episode is Better than this one... And Yep you can bet I will be making My Blog on the Thoughts I have of it ;)

The Trick I liked the most was either the Scorpion kiss or the Walking through the Gate. The Scorpion one because it was something we wouldn't expect and he just randomly kissed this chick, and the Walking through the Gate because he's Walked through a Window, A Solid Metal Door, and now that. I think it wraps it up nicely.
The "Teach a Trick" to be honest... Was Crap... I mean who actually Didn't know already that a Can of Soda Can balance like that if you drink about half of it. I mean really... thats something I think EVERYONE knows... AND it's not really a "Magic trick" its just balancing the can... nothing really magical about that.
I don't like how he's not really using REAL spectators anymore... he's either using people he "randomly" pulled from the crowd or "selected" some people... you never actually see him do that...
Another thing I noticed is that to me is seems like its a little to "scripted" for a reality TV show. I mean all the little "pranks" and things like that I mean come on you know they scripted that all out and was "acting" for that... which really doesn't set right with me. I liked it when he would walk up to random people and do magic for them, not "select" someone and show them something they have rehearsed and done over and over... President Obama IS Observing the National Day of Prayer!
Okay people Y'all need to get your Fact Straight... the thing going around on here about President Obama Canceling the National Day of Prayer is just BS! I am Sick and Tired of People Slashing Him for things HE DIDN'T DO! I don't Give a Rats *** if you don't Like him. But Sitting there Saying FALSE Things about him to make him look bad IS WRONG! STOP Putting things on your Status Just because it says "copy and paste" Effing Look up the info BEFORE you post it for crying out loud! 99.9% of the things that are told is just SPAM or Hate against Obama or other people. This just shows how uneducated people are... They believe everything they read on Someone's Status... WTF...
The person who made this says they are a "Christian American" but a TRUE Christian WOULD NOT make FALSE allegations about someone! Criss Angel "MindFreak" Season 6
Well They Just released the Information about what Criss Angel's Show Will have in it's Season 6! I for one am pretty dang stoked to see it when it releases on Wed, Aug 4 @ 10pm on A&E. The Information about Criss's next Season was just released! This is what I think about each episode.
THE GRAND CANYON DEATH JUMP:
What I think:
First off I think this is very interesting. The fact that he will be Jumping the Grand Canyon and then Appearing inside a locked Jail cell is actually pretty remarkable. Now we all know he is going to pull it off because well it wouldn't be on the show if he didn't. But all in all I think this is going to be a great effect!
LUXOR WALK:
What I think:
He has done something similar to this before when he walked up and down the side of a building. I just don't like how they play up the fact about the "incinerating light" Obviously from Season 4 when he floated in the light he didn't harm him so walking on it shouldn't either, But other than that it sounds like it would be a great illusion.
SMASH:
What I think:
This he has done before, just with a Cement Block instead of a Crate. Granted he wasn't above a lake he was just way up in the air in New York City. It had a lot of the same details, (being able to see him inside and what he does) So He is just revamping one of his old illusions. It should be great ;)
LEVITATION VANISH:
What I think:
Now Criss has done a TON of Levitations before and We all know what type of crazy things he has done with it. From levitating people on the street to levitating above the Luxor he has pretty much did it all. So when I read that he will be doing a instant NO cover vanish while levitating a 100 feet in the air... well I have to see this to believe it. Yes I am a magician but this just seems impossible. If he can pull it off it will have me thinking about how he does it (just like his walking on lake mead he did in Season 4) This should be one AWESOME illusion ;)
100 GONE:
What I think:
What I don't like about this is simple... The fact that they think we are stupid enough to believe that they are "Random" people... Come on... We all know they are getting paid... Other Than that I think this will be great! I can't really comment on how I think he will perform the effect because the Methods to something like this is just to many to count. There are THOUSANDS of ways to make something disappear So I can't comment on how he will do it. But I still think that for what he's doing, Making 100 people Vanish, it is going to be pretty dang sweet!
CEMENT SHOES:

I can understand why this is on the Last Episode of the Season. It is one of the most dangerous as well as spectacular effects he is going to do. The fact that he will be doing it in front of "10,000 spectators" is amazing! I sure hope that they have good security there ;) Very dangerous but we all know that he lived through it and succeed because well it wasn't in the news and its going into his Season. So For all those people that Wish to see him Epically fail... sorry not on this.
END VERDICT:
I think This will be a great Season and I am waiting to be amazed! Even though it looks like it will only be a 6 episode long Season,(much like Season 5 "The Five Lives of Criss Angel Mindfreak" With only 5 Episodes) I still think it will be great!

Happiness...
Well I haven't posted a new blog entry in a while so Today I figured I'll just post what I'm currently feeling... I look around me and see everyone happy... I fake a smile and cover up how i truly feel... I envy those who are happy... or that "Seem" to be happy... I cant count the number of times I lay awake at night crying myself to sleep... It comes in waves... some nights I'm happy... others I couldn't be more alone... This Blog is to show you what's really going on inside my head... and this is it... I'm a lonely fool... And That was one reason I got into magic in the first place. Being lonely... With My magic I was able to be noticed... to have attention... But now... it just doesn't help anymore... I love the art... I just need more... When is it going to be my time? When can I take off this mask that I am wearing and let someone see the real me? I am about to be 19 years old... I have no job, no girlfriend, and still live at home with my parents... I try to stay busy so that I won't think about these things... but they always creep in, in the evenings... I promised myself that I would be brutally honest on this Blog, and thats what I'm doing. I am not happy... You may look at me and think that I have everything together... but I'm just as broken as the next guy... Well I think that's as far as your going to get inside my mind this time... Until we meet again...

"Churchy People"
As most of know I go to church every Sunday. I love my Church and I would never think of changing to a different one. But, I recently went to a different church with a friend on Tuesday night for youth group. It was an okay survice but I just have one problem with it. The Youth..... It's sad to say that when I got there I was kind of shocked to see who went there. It was all Teens that I thought never went to church. It was the Teens that when you go somewhere and see them you just CANNOT tell that they have God in their life. They were the "Bad" kids.
Now I'm not saying that it isn't a good thing for them to be in church... Because it is great! What I'm Saying is that they need to live for God everyday not just on days they go to Church. God calls us to live for him everyday of our lives and to make him number 1 of our lives. Not to go to Church and act all good at church but as soon as you leave you go back to your old ways. If that happens then I think that person needs to take a look at their walk with God.
I don't know how many people know this about me but I have been called to be a Youth Pastor for about 4 years now. I am called to see that the youth of this time does not end up in the Pits of Hell. So when I see Teens like this it truely worries me. It makes me want to do something but I don't know what.

"22 But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwisee, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if youlisten to the word and don't obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that set your free, and if you do what it says and don't forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it."
That verse really sticks out to me when I see the youth go to church and say all the right things but when they get home they forget all about church and go about their ways not knowing that they are missing out on so much in life. Because Life is so much more than what so many people are letting it be. People wonder why things just are not going so good but, they don't realize that it just might be because of their walk with God.
My Final Thoughts:
If that is you just think about what you are doing. Do you go to church then as soon as you get home you forget what was taught? Or do you remember what was taught but don't put what was taught into your heart? Just think about that until next time.

Where Did God Come From? The Answer!
To Anyone Who has ever Asked this Question I found a pretty logical Explanation to this Age old question! "Where Did God Come from?" I know I have wondered that very question several times and I'm sure I'm not the only one... I found a pretty sweet description of Where God Came from Here it is!
THE ANSWER:
"We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. To do so, we must use human concepts to speak of God: "without beginning or end"; "eternal"; "infinite", etc. The Bible says that He has always existed: " . . . even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God" (Psalm 90:2). And, "Your throne is established from of old; Thou art from everlasting" (Psalm 93:2). Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn't. He always was.
To us, the notion of time is linear. One second follows the next, one minute is after another. We get older, not younger and we cannot repeat the minutes that have passed us by. We have all seen the time lines on charts: early time is on the left and later time is on the right. We see nations, people's lives, and plans mapped out on straight lines from left to right. We see a beginning and an end. But God is "beyond the chart." He has no beginning or end. He simply has always been.
Also, physics has shown that time is a property that is the result of the existence of matter. Time exists when matter exists. Time has even been called the fourth dimension. But God is not matter. In fact, God created matter. He created the universe. So, time began when God created the universe. THE ANSWER:
"We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. To do so, we must use human concepts to speak of God: "without beginning or end"; "eternal"; "infinite", etc. The Bible says that He has always existed: " . . . even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God" (Psalm 90:2). And, "Your throne is established from of old; Thou art from everlasting" (Psalm 93:2). Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn't. He always was.
To us, the notion of time is linear. One second follows the next, one minute is after another. We get older, not younger and we cannot repeat the minutes that have passed us by. We have all seen the time lines on charts: early time is on the left and later time is on the right. We see nations, people's lives, and plans mapped out on straight lines from left to right. We see a beginning and an end. But God is "beyond the chart." He has no beginning or end. He simply has always been.
Also, physics has shown that time is a property that is the result of the existence of matter. Time exists when matter exists. Time has even been called the fourth dimension. But God is not matter. In fact, God created matter. He created the universe. So, time began when God created the universe. Before that, God was simply existing and time had no meaning (except conceptually), no relation to Him. Therefore, to ask where God came from is to ask a question that cannot really be applied to God in the first place. Because time has no meaning with God in relation to who He is, eternity is also not something that can be absolutely related to God. God is even beyond eternity.
Eternity is a term that we finite creatures use to express the concept of something that has no end -- and/or no beginning. God has no beginning or end... He is outside the realm of time."

One Nation, UNDER GOD...
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. - This country was founded with the ideas that as American's we could have our basic freedoms and that Religion was one of the freedoms people used to have pride about...
These are sad times...
I watched the Special tonight about all the "Self Help" scams out there tonight... People need to realize to Let Go and Let GOD! We cannot do ANYTHING on our own, for without God we are doomed... sad that people walk away from God and to things that "Promise" them wealth and happiness... all have failed... ONLY GOD can truly provide us with what we NEED not what we WANT.
The Bible says:
1 John 5:14-15 - "14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him." NIV
If we Pray according to his will he will provide everything we could possibly need.
Some people Take verses like this:
Mark 11:24
"24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." NIV
AND
John 14:13-14
"13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." NIV
Some people take verses like this To mean that we can pray for anything we want and God will give it to us... That couldn't be more WRONG! There are pastors out there preaching that If we put something on our fridge, like for example a new car, and claim it everyday that God Wants us to have that Car and that We will get that car... They couldn't be more misleading... This is a example of people taking the Word of God out of Context to make the bible work for them and to fuel their own GREED!

James 4:3
"3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." NIV
We have gotten to a Nation of Greed... It's all about ME ME ME ME ME! So When Someone prays for something and they don't get it they say "God hasn't answered my prayers" But in all reality it's more along the lines, "He Did answer your prayers... He just said NO!" Or have yall forgotten that God Can say no... But of course Since we (and when i say we i mean we as humans) only think God is the Giver and the "Say Yeser" He CAN and WILL say NO if you do not pray according to his will and pray only for your personal gain...
I don't know why I was felt to post this... maybe someone needed to read this...
As a Final thought....
The next time you pray think about what you are praying about and asking for. Is it you demanding God to do something that will only advance your personal pleasure, or are you praying to see someone else's life get changed? Is your prayers all about you, or is it about your brothers and sisters, Mothers and Fathers, ect... Are You doing all the talking and not giving God a chance to speak? Are you listening to What he has to say? I can pretty much guarantee that if you change the way you pray if you are praying incorrectly your life will truly change.
